Wireless (also be known as WiFi or RF) networking is a method of connecting computers to a network using radio frequencies rather than network cables. It is more complicated than cable based network as there are more factors to be taken into consideration: it's not always as simple as the adverts make it look!

Another disadvantage is that the it is a lot easier to 'steal' data being sent through the airwaves, than over a network cable.
